Graduate and Undergraduate Research Symposium

Date Published:

The School of Graduate Studies would like to welcome everyone to the GURS 2021 virtual event. NCCU students have recorded and created presentations on their research. They have uploaded their videos here for viewing: https://symposium.foragerone.com/nccu-gurs-2021/presentations.

On Saturday, March 20, at 9:00 a.m., there will be a live virtual event: https://symposium.foragerone.com/nccu-gurs-2021. Students will have an opportunity to explain their research and take any questions from the judges and attendees.

Included here are instructions for attendees to use so they can navigate the Symposium site easily.

  1. Follow the link here to our event page. It is hosted on a media platform called ForagerOne: https://symposium.foragerone.com/nccu-gurs-2021/presentations.
  2. The link will direct you to the "Welcome" page.
  3. You will see three menu tabs on the top. The presentations are open through the end of GURS, which is March 20. To view all of the student's presentations, select the "Presentations" tab.
  4. On the Presentations page, you can select and watch all of the presentations.
  5. To view the live sessions on March 20 (starting at 9 a.m. with the Welcome Session), you must have a ForagerOne account. To do this, select the "Sign-Up" link in the upper right-hand corner of the page and follow the instructions. We have created a way for you to join without creating an account if you do not need to comment on the sessions. Simply go back to the Welcome page and copy the WebEx links that are specified for each session.
