HBCUvc Fellowship Opportunity

Date Published:

The HBCUvc is a two-year fellowship in technology entrepreneurship and venture capital.

Who We Are
We're a nonprofit organization creating solutions for the racial wealth gap by teaching venture capital and technology entrepreneurship at HBCUs and Hispanic universities.

Our Approach
We host a fellowship program in venture capital for students attending HBCUs and Hispanic universities. The fellowship provides venture capital skill training, mentorship, and access to professional networks, as well as paid travel opportunities. Fellows obtain venture capital work experience through our Venture Capital Clinic. The Venture Capital Clinic is a new and transformative model that resembles a "teaching venture capital firm." Fellows invest in campus startups under the guidance of an experienced investor. This comprehensive
approach connects Fellows to the venture capital industry and develops entrepreneurial communities at HBCUs and Hispanic universities.

Creating Equity in Our Communities
We promote ownership over employment. We're creating a pipeline of investors and entrepreneurs that build thriving businesses to create wealth and impact in our communities.

"Nothing is stronger than a community that invests in its people"
