The North Carolina Central University Higher Education Administration Graduate Program and the School of Education invite you to the January 2023 Tuesdays Together National Speaker Series event with Dr. John L. Jackson, Jr., Richard Perry University Professor and Walter H. Annenberg Dean of the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania. The event will occur on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, from 12 to 1 p.m. via Zoom.
A renowned cultural anthropologist, Dr. Jackson has spent the last 20 years re-shaping and modernizing his discipline for the Internet Age. Jackson works at the intersection of cultural anthropology, race studies and new media. Jackson leads one of the premier schools of communication in the world. The Annenberg School for Communication has had a mission and mandate to inform national and international conversations about how mass media shape our everyday lives, explaining the complex and ever-changing nexus where social media and social impact collide.
