On behalf of the LLETE fellowship's partnering entities, the University Honors Program (UHP) and the Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Research Clinic and Lab (EERCL), we thank you for your interest in being a part of the NCCU  Life and Leadership Education Through Entrepreneurship (LLETE) Fellowship Program. 

The LLETE fellowship is guided by its mission to prepare world-changers one community and entrepreneur at a time. This exclusive opportunity is available to freshmen and sophomore honor students. Students will work on the frontlines of innovation and business development with opportunities that promise to impact the economic landscape for a wider range of communities.

If you are chosen to participate, you will be required to agree to the following:

  • Attend bi-weekly fellowship training sessions during the fall and spring semesters
  • Attend six career and professional development sessions annually (three in the fall semester, three in the spring)
  • Attend two workshops annually (one fall/one spring)
  • Complete one research project relevant to the fellowship
  • Identify one research question of interest relevant to the fellowship and complete a research paper on the topic
  • Share research at one of the annual workshops
  • Fill out pre- and post-program surveys on the fellowship experience
  • Mentor at least one new fellow after matriculating through the initial fellowship year
  • Be a part of the fellowship alumni network following the initial fellowship year until graduation
