RDU requests not submitted at least seven (7) working days before the travel date are subject to cancellation. The Amtrak shuttle on-demand service can be scheduled same day with a valid submission of this Eagle-RDU-Amtrak Form or through the PassioGO app.
Itineraries must include the student's cell number and student ID number. Also, the student's confirmed reservation information should be uploaded to the itinerary section. Failure to provide a valid itinerary will result in the cancellation of your request.
Due to safety concerns related to allergies and choking hazards, NCCU Transportation does not permit students to eat or drink on NCCU Transportation vehicles. The operator reserves the right to request that passengers dispose of any open food or drink before boarding the vehicle. Passengers will be asked to refrain from eating on the vehicle and to avoid boarding the vehicle with any open containers that cannot be resealed. Only under exceptional circumstances will eating/drinking be allowed on the vehicles.
Please review the attached liability waivers and sign where applicable. All passengers must complete the attached document(s) before boarding an NCCU vehicle. Passengers who regularly use NCCU vehicles throughout the semester will only need to sign the document(s) one time per academic year.
The RDU-Amtrak Shuttle designated pickup area is located at the Latham Parking Deck Surface Lot shuttle stop. The shuttle will depart from campus at its scheduled time and will not accommodate late arrivals. Students who arrive late will have their shuttle request cancelled.
North Carolina Central University Transportation is committed to providing reliable shuttle services for all students. To ensure fairness and efficiency, the following policy is in effect for the RDU/Amtrak Shuttle:
Students who accumulate three (3) No-Call/No-Show incidents for scheduled RDU/Amtrak Shuttle trips will have their shuttle service privileges suspended.
A No-Call/No-Show is defined as failing to appear for a scheduled shuttle trip without canceling in advance through the PassioGo App or notifying NCCU Transportation.
Repeated no-shows prevent other students from accessing the service and disrupt scheduled operations. Students are encouraged to cancel trips promptly if plans change.
