August 11–14: Orientation for First-Year Students

An engaging week of programming to welcome new students, build community, and introduce key academic and support services.

August 18: Classes Begin

The fall semester officially begins; students attend their first day of classes.

September 1: Labor Day Holiday

Campus closed in observance of Labor Day; no classes held.

September 9–12: First-Year Assessments

Initial assessments to evaluate progress and provide early academic feedback to first-year students.

September 27: PBAP 40th Anniversary Soirée

Join us in celebrating 40 years of the Performance-Based Admission Program (PBAP), a mission-driven initiative that has opened doors to the legal profession for hundreds of alumni. This special evening will honor the program’s founders and distinguished alumni while celebrating the enduring legacy of PBAP Nation.

September 29: Upper-Level Mid-Term Examinations Begin

The midterm exam period begins for upper-level students.

October 9–10: First-Year Mid-Term Examinations

First-year students complete mid-term exams to assess mastery of foundational material.

October 13: Fall Break

A scheduled break from classes allows students time for rest and reflection.

October 14: Mental Health Awareness Day

A day without classes dedicated to promoting wellness and mental health awareness.

October 16: Annual Law and Technology Symposium

The Symposium gathers lawyers, judges, academics, technologists, and students for in-depth discussions on emerging legal technology issues. Attendees will engage with expert panels and thought leaders exploring how technology continues to shape the legal profession.

Students may begin registering for spring semester courses.

No classes in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.

December 1: Reading Day

A dedicated day for quiet study and exam preparation.

December 2–11: Final Exam Period

Students complete final examinations for the fall semester.
