August 3–14: Flight School/Orientation
A two-week orientation program introducing incoming students to academic expectations, campus resources, student services, and the School of Law community.

August 17: First Day of Classes
The fall semester officially begins with the first day of instruction for all students.

September 7: Labor Day Holiday (No Classes)
NCCU closed in observance of Labor Day.

September 10–11: First-Year Assessments
First-year students complete early assessments designed to evaluate academic progress and provide timely feedback.

September 28 – October 8: Upper-Level Mid-Term Assessments
Upper-level students participate in midterm assessments to evaluate course performance and reinforce learning objectives.

October 12: Fall Break (No Classes)
A scheduled academic break providing students an opportunity to rest and recharge.

October 13: Mental Wellness Awareness Day (No Classes)
A designated day focused on promoting mental health awareness, well-being, and self-care across the law school community.

October 15–16: First-Year Mid-Term Assessments
First-year students complete midterm assessments to measure comprehension of foundational legal concepts and coursework.

November 24: Last Day of Classes
The final day of instruction for the fall semester.

November 30: Reading Day
A dedicated day for focused study and preparation prior to final examinations.

December 1–10: Final Examinations
Students complete comprehensive final examinations for their fall semester courses.

December 11: Winter Commencement (9 a.m.)
A formal commencement ceremony celebrating graduates who have successfully completed their degree requirements during the fall semester.
