Student Web Technician

The Student Web Services Assistant is responsible for creating and updating NCCU.edu web pages; responding to Web Services Help Desk requests; testing for quality assurance, accessibility, search engine optimization, and security; crafting and uploading graphics; curating database information; and participating in Web Services projects upon request. In addition, all student interns are expected to participate in a student-designed and student-led project, with a final presentation given at the end of each semester.

The student must have a working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP. A highly qualified candidate will have experience with content management systems (Drupal preferred), the Adobe Creative Cloud suite (specifically, Photoshop, Illustrator, Experience Design, Acrobat, and Dreamweaver), API integration, and ColdFusion. All team members are expected to demonstrate strong troubleshooting abilities, good interpersonal communication skills, and a solid work ethic.
