Current Application Requirements Project Application Education Supporting Documents Statement of Purpose Award Conditions Complete Research Institute for Scholars of Equity (RISE) is a fellowship program that prepares a new generation of scholars committed to addressing issues of social equity. Fellows will conduct rigorous, high-quality research in education that will improve the schooling experiences and academic attainment of pre-kindergarten through university-level African-American and Latino students. Fellows will be mentored by stellar faculty and will be prepared to pursue doctoral education. Requirements The deadline for receipt of all application materials is April 1, 2024. Application, transcripts, and three letters of recommendation must also be submitted. After applications are reviewed, finalists will be required to participate in a telephone interview. Selected RISE Fellows are required to sign a contract. Failure to sign the contract and return it by the posted deadline (within 7 days of notification) will result in forfeiture of the RISE award.
