North Carolina Central University's 76th Founder's Day Convocation recognizes the life and contributions of the university's founder Dr. James E. Shepard. The class of 1973 will be inducted into the Society of Golden Eagles. Immediately following the Convocation, a wreath-laying ceremony will be held as part of the celebration.
