Join the American Marketing Association Triangle Chapter (AMA Triangle) on Wednesday, March 20, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at North Carolina Central University for a candid conversation exploring female rivalry in the workplace.
Women do not face competition at work from only men. From gossiping to gaslighting to downplaying successes, female rivalry exists. While some competitiveness can be healthy and lead to growth, do you recognize when it is toxic? How are our biases, messaging, and workplace culture shaping the way women think about and approach competition at work? How can we create an environment where women support one another genuinely and everyone is encouraged to be their authentic selves?
Panelists:
- Jennifer Best, VP of Marketing, AAE Speakers Bureau
- Nicole Filippo, Communications Director, Duke Center for International Development
- Tia Dunn, Director of Marketing & Communications, North Carolina Central University
- Jordan Cain, Chief Operating Officer, Approve
This event will be moderated by Abha Bowers, CEO of Walk West, an NC-based full-service marketing and branding agency.
