Join us at the James E. Shepard Memorial Library as we celebrate Black History Month with a special movie series highlighting Black culture, history, and resilience through the lens of film. Each screening showcases powerful narratives of activism, hip-hop, fashion, and community struggles that have shaped Black experiences in America.

The Best of Enemies:

  • Based on a true story, this drama tells the unlikely friendship between civil rights activist Ann Atwater and Ku Klux Klan leader C.P. Ellis, set against the backdrop of school desegregation in Durham, North Carolina.
