On Wednesday (Nov 13), Dr. Sharrelle Barber and Mr. William Barber III, JD (the offspring of the renowned Rev. Dr. William Barber, II), will raise awareness about environmental justice issues in local and global communities, and a panel of subject-matter experts will present remarks and address the steps for advocating for change.
Please join us at the Miller-Morgan Auditorium at 5 pm. Please note that this event is also an open house for the Department of Public Health Education, and those with an interest in the health field are strongly encouraged to attend. This forum introduces students to the Department of Public Health Education, issues we address, opportunities in the field, agencies where health educators may find internships and/or employment, and student organizations and activities. This is a great opportunity for those considering the major!
