
Join us for a performance of the Jazz Creative Arts Residency with saxophonist, composer and vocalist Camille Thurman.
The performance will be of "Identity and Black Femininity Through the Words of Lord, Sanchez, Wells, hooks, Washington and Shange" and will feature NCCU Jazz Studies' student composer concerts and collaborations with NCCU Departments of Music, Theatre and Dance, and Art (sponsored by South Arts).
This residency and performance (Identity and Black Femininity Through the Words of Lord, Sanchez, Wells, Shange and Hooks) is made possible with the support of Jazz Road, a national initiative of South Arts, which is funded by the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation with additional support from the Andrew W.
