Documentary Premiere: “Unlocking Potential: NCCU Students' Summer Research Journey”

The North Carolina Central University (NCCU) community is invited to attend the "Unlocking Potential: NCCU Students' Summer Research Journey" documentary premiere on Friday, September 12, 2025, at 10 a.m., 1 p.m., or 4 p.m. in Auditorium 201 of the Albert N. Whiting Criminal Justice Building.

The documentary highlights the inspiring experiences of our criminal justice students who participated in the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Summer Research Team at Arizona State University during the summer of 2024. It includes interviews with criminal justice faculty and students about the importance of faculty-student research collaboration.   

The documentary was supported with funding from the 2024 NCCU Faculty Research Awards Program. It is sponsored by the NCCU Department of Criminal Justice and the NCCU Institute for Homeland Security and Emergency Management.
