Join Dr. Zelda Lockhart, NCCU Creative Writing and African American Literature and Distinguished Endowed Fellow for Language and Literature, facilitator, public speaker, and author, as she discusses writing tips and showcases her collection of publications.

Her latest books include the forthcoming HarperCollins 2023 release "Trinity" (a novel); HarperCollins 2021 release "Mama Bear: One Black Mother's Fight for Her Child's Life and Her Own," by Shirley Smith with Zelda Lockhart; and "Diamond Doris: The World's Most Notorious Jewel Thief," by Doris Payne with Zelda Lockhart.

This event will be held on Thursday, October 13, at 1 p.m. on the second floor of the James E. Shepard Memorial Library.
