The Ciompi Quartet, Duke University's resident string quartet, will give a masterclass on composing and arranging for string instruments and string quartets. This event will include readings of student compositions and arrangement. The masterclass is on Wednesday, Feb. 8, at 1 p.m. in the B.N. Duke Band Room and is open to the public.
