Update: Due to unforseen circumstances, Jazzmeia Horn will not be performing. But we have great news! Seven-time GRAMMY nominee Ms. Nnenna Freelon will perform with her ensemble, including bassist John Brown. The performance still includes NCCU's award-winning student ensembles, the NCCU Jazz Ensemble (directed by Robert Trowers) and the NCCU Vocal Jazz Ensemble (directed by Dr. Lenora Helm Hammonds).
This event is a ticketed concert, so please be sure to reserve your spot today! The performance will occur on Thursday, April 25, at 7 p.m. at the Hayti Heritage Center.
