"Their Eyes Were Watching God," based on the novel by Zora Neale Hurston,  is a powerful theatrical journey of self-discovery, love, and liberation. Directed by Dr. Asabi Howard, the production follows Janie Crawford’s quest to find her voice, embrace her identity, and free her soul. Rooted in the Black woman’s experience, the story explores resilience, spirituality, and the enduring presence of God — even in life’s most turbulent storms.
