In celebration of Women’s History Month, the Department of History will hold its annual Helen G. Edmonds New South Lecture. The speaker will be Dr. Barbara D. Savage from the University of Pennsylvania. She is an historian and the Geraldine R. Segal Professor Emerita of American Social Thought and Africana Studies.

The lecture will be from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in the Miller-Morgan Health Sciences Building Auditorium, room 131.

A reception will follow the lecture in the Helen G. Edmonds Classroom Building Conference Room.
