This year’s data literacy speaker is Dr. Christian Collins, Vice Chancellor for Institutional Excellence from the City College of Chicago. The data literacy event is intended to inspire a data-informed culture at North Carolina Central University that effectively analyzes and acts on what matters most for improving student success and the Eagle Promise. The event has been developed for an audience with a wide range of experience, knowledge of and comfort-level with using data. Topics include the symbiotic relationship of data producers and data consumers, data-informed decision culture, growth mindset and data-informed behavioral norms.
Participants will leave inspired to examine their role in supporting the success of NCCU’s continuous improvement and student success efforts as either data producers or data consumers. Participants will also learn practical tip and frameworks that can be incorporated into their day-to-day practices. All are welcome.
This event is sponsored by the Office of Institutional Research and Analysis. For additional information, please call 919-530-6367 or email [email protected].
