The Department of Criminal Justice proudly recognizes and congratulates a distinguished group of undergraduate students who successfully completed the Institute for Homeland Security and Emergency Management (IHSEM) inaugural Student Training in WebEOC for Managing Disasters Program – Summer Cohort 2026.
This groundbreaking program provided students with hands-on exposure to Juvere's WebEOC, one of the nation’s leading crisis information management platforms used by emergency management professionals to support disaster preparedness, response, recovery, and information sharing during emergencies. Through their participation, students gained valuable knowledge and practical skills in emergency management, disaster coordination, situational awareness, and operational decision-making.
Successful completion of this program reflects each student's commitment to professional development and dedication to expanding their understanding of homeland security and emergency management. Throughout the training, participants demonstrated initiative, perseverance, and a willingness to engage with the concepts, technologies, and real-world applications that support effective disaster operations.
As members of the inaugural Summer Cohort, these students played a particularly important role in the program’s success.
