On Football Game Day Saturdays, the Latham Deck becomes a parking location for guests and Game Day attendees.
Students who usually park in the deck may move their vehicles on Game Day to the Mary Townes Science Complex lower and upper parking lots or may choose to pay Game Day parking rates to stay parked in the Latham Deck.
All vehicles must have a pre-paid Game Day permit or be moved by 7:00 pm on the Friday night before any home game.
If you DO HAVE an NCCU student or faculty/staff permit: If your vehicle is parked in the Latham Deck after 7:00 pm on the Friday night before Game Day, you will receive a $100 citation if you have not purchased and displayed a Game Day parking pass.
If you DO NOT HAVE an NCCU student or faculty/staff permit: If your vehicle is parked in the Latham Deck after 7:00 pm on the Friday night before Game Day, you will be towed at your own expense if you have not purchased and displayed a Game Day parking pass.
The cost for Game Day parking in the Latham Deck is $15 for all non-Homecoming games and $20 for the Homecoming game.
For students who are interested in staying parked in the Latham deck after 7:00 pm on the Friday night before Game Day, you must pre-purchase your Game Day parking pass. Game Day parking passes can be purchased up to the Friday before the Game Day Saturday. Here are the steps to do so:
- Stop by the Cashier’s Office in 012 Shepard Administrative Building and ask to purchase a Game Day parking pass for the Latham Deck; the cost is $15 per home game and $20 for the Homecoming game.
- Bring your receipts to the Transportation Office (408 Brant Street) on the first floor of Eagle Landing Residence Hall.
- Let the parking customer service manager know that you’ve purchased a Game Day parking pass and show her your student ID and receipts from the Cashier’s Office. You’ll also need to share your license plate number.
- Take your Game Day parking pass and display it on your dashboard until the Saturday Game Day is over.
Please note there are no refunds for any Game Day parking passes that are purchased.
As always, students can move to the Mary Townes Science parking lots to park for free on a first-come, first-served basis if they would prefer to not purchase a Game Day parking pass in the Latham Deck.
For questions or concerns, please contact the parking customer service manager, Ms. Sheri Satterwhite, at (919) 530-5023 or [email protected]. Thank you for your patience during these changes to NCCU.
