North Carolina Central University will honor the life and legacy of the late Mrs. Carolyn Marie Smith Green, C’51, on Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2019, from 3 to 4:30 pm in the B. N. Duke Auditorium. Alumna Green, who passed away in August, was the granddaughter of NCCU founder Dr. James E. Shepard.
The celebration of life tribute will include music from the University Choir, readings, and words of remembrance from those who knew Alumna Green and the Shepard family.
