Banner SSB Proxy Set-up

Description

A proxy approver is needed when the assigned approver is away from the office and cannot access myEOL and Banner SSB to approve bi-weekly timesheets or monthly leave reports.

The proxy approver must be a full-time employee and should have access to the employee/student work schedules to validate hours worked for approval. The proxy should also be aware of when they should be responsible for timesheet and leave report approval.

All Banner SSB users must have an active PIN to access Banner SSB and certify changes and sign their timesheets and leave reports. PIN numbers can be obtained from the ITS department by calling 919-530-7676.

Select "Login."

1. Click on the "Employee" tab.

2. Click on "Biweekly Timesheet" or "Monthly Leave Report."

3. Choose the Proxy Set-up link at the bottom center of the page.

4. Select "Act as Proxy" and then click on the down arrow to select the name of the full-time employee who will act as proxy on your behalf. Click the box next to the name and click on "Select" to save the option.

5. To remove a proxy approver, select the name and click the box under the "Remove" column and "Save" to remove the proxy.
