Sew Uniquee, the apparel alteration lab, has resumed operations, starting Tuesday, January 18, 2022. Our operating hours are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday through Thursday; we are closed on Friday.
The lab serves as an opportunity for Textiles and Apparel majors in the Department of Human Sciences to perform garment fittings, alterations and garment repairs under an instructor's supervision. Faculty, staff, students and members of the surrounding community are able to patronize this business and receive excellent service at competitive prices. The purpose of the lab is to provide students an additional opportunity to learn how to operate a business and develop customer service skills while improving their apparel construction skills.
