Dr. Monique Holsey-Hyman Reappointed as Council on Social Work Education Board of Accreditation Site Visitor

Dr. Monique Holsey-Hyman, associate professor in the Department of Social Work at North Carolina Central University (NCCU), has been reappointed as a Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) Board of Accreditation (BOA) Site Visitor for an additional three-year term, effective July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2029.

The CSWE Board of Accreditation is responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of accredited social work education programs throughout the United States. As a Site Visitor, Holsey-Hyman reviews program self-studies, conducts accreditation site visits, and prepares reports that support the Board of Accreditation in evaluating compliance with the Educational Policy and Accreditation Standards (EPAS). Her continued appointment reflects her expertise in social work education, accreditation, curriculum development, and academic leadership.

Holsey-Hyman's national service contributes to strengthening social work education by supporting continuous quality improvement and promoting excellence in the preparation of future social work professionals. Her reappointment also highlights NCCU's commitment to faculty leadership and service at the national level.
