A Call for Participants: Study on Stress in African Americans

The Race, Identity and Stress Experiences (RISE) laboratory at North Carolina Central University is seeking research participants for a study on the impact of stress on blood pressure among African American young adults (18–39 years old).

Eligible participants will receive $25 for the first visit and $50 for a 3-month follow-up visit. Each visit will take approximately 15–20 minutes.

Qualifications:

  • African American
  • 18–39 years of age
  • A resident of Durham or Halifax County
  • Willing to complete an online survey
  • Willing to have your blood pressure monitored
