First-Gen Week 2023

North Carolina Central University will host its annual First-Gen Week from Saturday, November 4, 2023, to Saturday, November 11, 2023. This week-long event highlights and celebrates faculty, staff and students who are or will be the first in their families to graduate from college with a bachelor's degree or higher.

Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in various events, workshops, socials and networking mixers throughout the week, as well as close the week with our Inaugural First-Gen Pinning Ceremony (Friday, November 10, 2023, 4 to 5 p.m.) and 3rd Annual First to Soar Conference (Saturday, November 11, 2023, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.).
